HITMIXX are truly the 2nd best vocal group after Mamamoo, where every member can SING! The fact that they are a large group where every member can SING, isn't very common in Kpop, since other top vocal groups like Mamamoo only have 4 members while NMIXX has 7.  

 

Sullyoon is more stable (the impact of performing live often ) but we also have to take in account that Ning Ning parts of Savage are way more technical than Sullyoon.

Somehow Love Dive instrumental sounds TOO epic for what she’s singing about, like it doesn’t really match the subject matter  I know IVE Korean lyrics are not that different either but I think the IVE girlies brought some expensive aura and epicness to the song which complimented the instrumental really well. This was MEANT to be their song and shout out to Sophia Brenan as well as the Starship A&R for this demo because this was really perfect for IVE….like I can’t picture any other 4th gen group with this song

I think it's a combination of her songwriting talentry and Starships A&R have good taste choosing good demos (kudos to all of them btw ) cause unfortunately she have some dud demos  (Elle Campbell also co-wrote this track as well)

They are singing that part. The vocals are different from the demo.

i have other faves too but this takes it for now. All in all, a very solid body of work for a first full album. Some people complaining yesterday about how it’s “mid” and stuff, lemme just say y’all clearly don’t know how to appreciate good well-made pop music. Also it might trigger some people but IVE really has one of the best combination of vocal tones in a group. Like there were some songs that were okay production-wise but was elevated largely due to their vocal tones. Also idk why we have to keep saying this, but y’all can stop pretending that Liz and Yujin are not capable vocalists and lumping them together with others while saying “IVE can’t sing”. And another thing is that, sometimes the delivery in a song is more important than who hits how many high notes or belts, and I could see every member delivering their lines exactly as they should have in this album. So there’s that

i get they aren’t the top singers of the generation or anything but at least they can sing live when they chose too. i was a little shook when they sang their entire first fan concert live and every member could at least sing passably live. liz & yujin ATE at that concert. 

 

 

LSRFM is a group full of servers & i won’t tolerate anymore “this member adds nothing remove them” nonsense. that hybe coin coming through in these teasers & im wondering if the girls had anything to do with the concepts like in anti-fragile.
