I've been saying many times the NJ-IVE-LSFM trinity are currently the 4th Gen version of BP-Twice-RV

 

BP-NJ: Massive debut hype, debut singles reached RAK/PAK (Whistle-Attention) while the other singles outlasted their debut singles in long run (Boombayah-Hype Boy)

 

Twice-IVE: Decent debut (Like Ohh-Ahh, Eleven), smashing hard on their 1st comeback and won many SOTY Daesangs (Cheer Up, Love Dive), getting dragged for weak vocal and can't sing live

 

RV-LSFM: No idea, but I guess their concept was pretty amazing on their owns

 

 

 

This was IVE's first proper album (that's also long for kpop standards) so comparing them to bgs with already established fanbase that is ready to sell out arenas to see those b-sides performed makes no sense. They were all about singles so far and now it's time for them to promote some b-sides so people know what to expect when getting into their albums in the future. The quality is there, they just need to shift focus from singles a bit.
