Twice suffered from lack of proper solo promotion and in that area NewJeans already have them beat 

 

I do think they might suffer from the heavy reliance on youth & current trends for their concept, but in that case they're more similar to the likes of 2NE1 if anything.

Winter really should've gotten that shoot alot earlier, preferably when she was still THEE IT Girl and all everyone was talking about. But it's better late than never, I hope to see more solo promotion for the other members as well.

i think sm started it with shinee in 2021. one of the most annoying trends in kpop honestly. 

twice slowed down after several hits tho and still no girlgroup sold more albums than them and they out here selling stadiums
