Yujin being in a subunit is not going to stop her to debut solo after. Someone have to sing, Rei can’t carry the vocals and the rap parts by herself with Wy . Either a subunit with only Rei and Yujin or a trio with Wy added. 
 

Liz is still an option but she need to fit Korean beauty standards first.

blackpink including their solos sales is at 8m something already right now. blackpink would 101% outsell twice in album department if they released the same amount of albums  

 

not to mention, twice album sales is from 9 members while bp's is just from 4
