EIL/OTR2 was a rough time to be a stan, especially coming after Beychella

Dangerous Woman.

 

The lack of management from the beginning, the TV ban, the underwhelming performance of the album and the singles as a result of both. Scooter came in at the end and saved the day, but then the tour happened.

The one that sent fans on a wild goose hunt for locks in parks and cities for some videos that weren't even incorporated in the actual era? The one that had two major performances cancelled at the last minute with little to no explanation? This is after several droplets that again weren't even in the actual album that dropped? The navy would really just wake up to anything in 2015-upto Anti's release.

I guess we should trust an OTH opinion on Taylor's music quality, right? 

 

I personally love the album (her 5th best in my opinion). The general consensus among Swifties is that it is a great album. The album is critically acclaim (85 on Metacritic). 

 

Seems like not "all" have the same opinion about its quality. But nothing wrong if you don't like it don't worry. 

One was barely promoted and had only 3 singles where one single was a horrible choice. The other one got delayed for 2 years.

 

 

 

Sweetener/TUN. As a Stan the success was fun, but on the other end Ariana wasn’t okay for most of that time period

lol theres no such thing as a traumatic ariana grande era. i'm talking about eras where pop girls were tormented relentlessly and became a punching bag for the GP.

Of the ones I've witnessed personally, nothing beats Diamonds and Dancefloors.

 

 

Romance and Rare are also up there. The first 4 months of the Lover era (April to August 2019) were also horrible. I'm sure other infamous bombs like Bionic, Damita Jo, A.K.A., Artpop, Me. I Am Mariah, The Spirit Indestructible, Kiss Me Once, Double Duchess, Witness, Britney Jean, Glitter/Charmbracelet, American Life etc. must have also been traumatising for the artists and their fans.

Lotus. You just had to be there. Cancelled tour one year before. Two single album the previous era. Now a one single era with a terrible album, terrible looks, ZERO performances of said single. The constant shady behavior when asked about her own career and craft. That one reporter telling her Let There Be Love is gaining traction and asking when the video is coming out and her straight up talking about taking a trip to Japan. 2012 was complete misery for us fighters and then she vanished for years except for a few useless droplets like We Remain and American or whatever that song was. Telepathy slapped tho
