They always celebrate when Adele falls on the charts, but then come to drag when she climbs up. What's up with that? And I know it's not all Swifties but clearly there's a pattern and the mods must have noticed it too.

 

Like, Taylor's doing great! So why not just celebrate that and mind your own business? And let Adele do her thing in peace. She's literally so harmless, only releases every 5 or 6 years.

It’s because Adele stans were hyping 30 to be an apocalyptic tsunami and then 30 underperformed. Also Adele decided to release the same day as RED TV which wasn’t very nice and kind of petty.

Idk when you joined this site, or how active you are here, but last year the Easy on me and 30 threads were just SO nasty. And I started to bark back too, but it's impossible to just "ignore it" when you are constantly attacked as a fandom.

Adelephants were very cocky during the beginning of 30 era so Swifties are just giving it back to them with interest.

You guys tend to only notice the loud obnoxious and annoying ones. There’s far more that are lowkey and chill and supportive of most other female artists.

If you think Adele is over then idk what to tell you. She's very likely to win big at the Grammys. And her Vegas residency is gonna have the highest gross per date ever. And above all, her next new music, whatever it maybe, is also gonna smash. In the streaming age Adele's lead singles are gonna perform better than the album, and that's just because having more tracks on the album helps with the unit count. So it's gonna be hard with her 11/12 tracks. And 6 minute long tracks. It's not a level playing field anymore, like just buying an album was. 30 has never left the Top 100 pure sales chart in the US, and now climbed back top Top 10 most likely this week.

And only in the last couple of days there has been a thread asking why Miley Cyrus wasn't more succesful than Taylor despite being more talented, another one about Taylor doing "McDonald's quality pop music", another one about her growing up rich and claiming otherwise and another one asking if she is the worse vocalist of the MPG. This site has those toxic behaviours, like pretty much every other site, and right now Taylor is the main character (both for attacking and being attacked) but in the future it'll be another woman as it has been in the past.
