To be fair, all of the viral-dance/00’s meme songs would’ve been 10+ week Hot 100 #1’s if streaming existed. 
 

I remember the original upload of “Chain Hang Low” on YouTube being number one there for 12 weeks, as well as being number one on MySpace’s ‘Most Watched Videos’ and being the ‘Most Downloaded Video’ on iTunes for 10 weeks in 2006.

It’s like cartoons, when you’re younger it sounds fine and keeps your attention but watching them now the voices are so loud and obnoxious. I can’t stand SpongeBob now because of that.

Alot of it was honestly the pits but we were bopping to it with no shame...

 

This was really THE pinnacle of fashion at that time 

The shutter shades  I was in year 7 (11 years old) and thought people older than me were so cool for having them
