I was 13-14 during 2009. Even though some of it didn’t age great, experiencing pop music in real time back then, pop music was FUN. I feel like music at large is missing that element of fun and silliness nowadays. Pop music at large is way more serious now, which is fine, but it could use a face lift of fun too. It’s nice to see Unholy doing well because it reminds me of that vibe.
