It’s not a big loss, those trend chasing, writing camp’d sings can be released by anyone

I feel like the longer I wait, the more anxious I'd feel about releasing music. Imagine if it took 6-7 years and it's ends up being something wack.

And this is probably the main reason why she hasn't released I fear. At this point if the album is not going to be both commercial success and acclaimed, it is just a waste of time and even damages her brand. If I was her I will never release any music as well. It is just not worth it.

I just can't see that happening. It's Rihanna. She's very smart and she knows what will click with people.

The longer the wait, the higher quality people are expecting. We all saw what happened with Lorde’s Solar Power (even though I kinda liked it )

She’s just afraid to flop esp now after seeing Adele who was once untouchable

If I had billions in the bank, then you best believe I won’t be releasing music, worried if it charts high, sells well and tour it.

Yesterday, The Monster (of all songs lmao) came on the car radio and I started crying.

Maybe she is afraid of the changed music scene and how well she does. The amount of scrapped albums she probably has

I like Rihanna but she has always been a brand, an image, not an artist. There's no use for her to release music if she found success (and more financial profit) in other markets.

 

Shes not one of those who feel the need to express themselves through music, or contribute artistically to the current scene, or even demonstrate their passion for music (which she clearly doesn't have anymore), so it's better to just stay in her lane and collect her coins. She's now a billionaire, after all.
