  1. Why does the wording of the tweet reek of chatgpt?
  2. It's so tiring to see how some people feed on her alleged illness as if it was part of a twisted freak show instead of a very serious, very personal health issue only her and her people should know about. I'm really glad she's taking this well-deserved break and I hope it does help to quieten down the discourse bc it's getting to a point where it is turning cruel rather than helpful. Take your time Ari, the arianators will stick by you no matter how long it takes
  3. There would be a collective healing taking place all around the gay community if that ever were to happen
  4. Am I the only one who'd love it if her next record took this ethereal airy sound she's not letting go of to a deep house adjacent territory (in the vein of Honey by Robyn) . That would suit her voice like a glove imo and could work as breath of fresh air too
  5. I don't mean to come across as negativa or hateful. In fact, I liked most of the songs on the record and the ones I didn't vibe with as much, I don't despise either. That being said, I'm kind worried that the melodies feel kind of stale? It feels like she traded a wordier (and clunkier) approach to songwriting in exchange for her distinctive sense for well constructed enjoyable melody (whether it was for a ballad, major bop or understated midtempo). One thing I'm also nearly 100% sure now is that this is not the big farewell record I was afraid it would be so now I'm hoping that as she creates in the future she can learn to coalesce melodies and her full involvement in lyrics so neither thing overshadows the other.
  6. These lyrics and the excerpts I've read on another site are lowkey giving elevated positions even though I can't exactly pinpoint why
  7. Omg, is the song about the homewreckee allegations then?
  8. Could you give some other hints about other songs? What do you think of the album after what you've heard?
  9. Have you listened to the full thing?
  10. I thought you were killer... With your carrot hair
  11. Betrayal reminded me of Life In A Glasshouse by Radiohead... They're obviously very different in tone and themes but the way horns are used in both songs is similar and sooo good
  12. There's def a slowdown in rhythm in the second half but aside from osa and ls my faves are mostly there... Very sensual, trip hoppy, nocturnal vibes... Especially MSAMS and betrayal (got chills from the latter)
  13. For me LES Girls was a total surprise and it made me very emotional, it's just so feathery light and at the same time so earnestly melancholic. I feel like I hadn't heard this side of her in ages
  14. Your bottom consisting of 3 of my faves nnn this only goes to show what a masterpiece the album is cause there's so much to like and there's something for each
  15. This whole thing feels soooo... Classy... So tasteful after a few eras that had been quite lackluster listening to this drove me to tears
