Despite radio payola in the states and heavy playlisting, the song keeps free falling... why is that? Can it recover with promo? 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The song’s bad and 99% of Britney’s singles have always been front-loaded.

Britney's music doesn't interest the GP anymore. All she elicits is pity from the GP.

 

Last lead single can't even crack 150M on Spotify, last album getting 100k daily streams, can't debut at #1 on Billboard 200, can't get a Top 10 single.

 

Poor dat.

It's a shame the song isn't better 

7.3M streams on Spotify in 3 days is more than most of us ever expected. We didn't even think we would hear Britney music ever again after everything. 

 

It's holding #1 on itunes this morning despite the VMAs happening as well, which is impressive. At the end of the day Britney still possibly being able land a song in the top 20 after so many years in the industry is still an achievement. There aren't many artists with that longevity after 20 some years in the industry. 

It's just not a good year to be hating on Britney Spears. Wait it out instead of being embarrassing.

It’s like they recorded the vocals in an echo chamber. You can barely make out what they’re saying. The effects are too heavy and so unneeded. 

Absolutely terrible but what can we expect from a Britney song in 2022?

Britney’s never had a #1 on Radio Airplay. She’s not a radio artist.

the song isn't good. the autotune on her voice was overdone. it seems like a knockoff of cold heart which wasn't that good when it was remixed either. It's a shame she is wasting her comeback hype off this ****.

The streaming numbers usually fall on Sundays, but HMC dropped quite a few positions, which is not the mark of stability

another song she doesnt seem to sound from studio recording, people start to recognize that and move on.

Maybe but since its playlisting isn't that good, it's obvious it won't hold up better than other songs that do, we'll see in the next few days if it climbs up or it keeps dropping hard.
