I don't understand why the need to do that. There are people who look great and when they undergo cosmetic treatments they look horrible (I see you Lady Gaga). But if they like it, who am I to judge them.

Constantly being surrounded by other people who are obsessed with achieving physical perfection would probably cause a bit of BDD I'd say. I'm not judging either, people can do whatever they want with their body, but that's probably the reason people who look perfectly fine to us do stuff like this.
