Anyways, not really feeling most of the songs  i liked FYB, it's not her best song but i think it's good, it's typical Poppy, the rest however...

 

The worst one has to be Switch, Stagger and Summer Breeze may be kinda boring and inoffensive, but Switch is so bad  i don't know how to explain it but she sounds off-key most of the song.

Wish she would revisit the sound and aesthetic she had for I Disagree and Am I A Girl? I liked Flux, but nothing she's put out since has truly captured me like those two albums sadly.

Poppy leaves Sumerian Records for Republic. 

 

Seems like after this new EP she's aiming for something more pop or commercial. 

 

Let's pray Republic Records doesn't Kim Petras her and block and shelve her future releases.

You know, I really like all her projects released after I Disagree, but nothing has gotten me obsessed as with ID. 

 

I don't think she will release something as good as it with Ian Kirkpatrick, but I'm keeping my mind open to whatever it comes. 

She is done for!

Is this the person ppl thought Lana was collabing w for her new album, but it didn’t end up being him?

I'm perched if she does something more commercial. Am I A Girl? had a lot of songs that could have been hits in the TikTok era, Girls In Bikinis kinda was able to still.

AIAG? was very mainstream/basic but I truly loved the aesthetic of the era, French inspired songs... Immature Couture being objectively her best. I hope we get it back

FYB is maybe the worst song I’ve ever heard from her 

Well, w her moving back to a major label we can say goodbye to multiple releases a year.

2020 - I Disagree / I Disagree (more), A Very Poppy Christmas (Her most prolific year)

2021 - EAT EP, Flux

Flux is a great album idk wtf is wrong with y’all. hysteria is one of her best 

The new song  interlude is terrible.  I like the fact that she's been constantly releasing bodies of work, I'll give her that!

Stagger is one of the best songs of her career. You all need to calm down a bit 

 and you kept the score, but I kept the promise  

 

Just listened to the ep right now and FYB is the weakest track here imo.

Stagger is definitely my favorite (and probably one of my favorite songs coming from her in general), Pocket chorus is so catchy and i wasn't expecting much from Shapes, but it's a pretty solid song too.

 

Bleh.

This is really good, as is all her material. Y’all are so dramatic
