This was truly one of the biggest cultural music moments of the decade so far.

The news talking about it, music fans flocking to hear about it. What struck me the most was the pure word of mouth of this song.

Cardi is so dumb for not releasing her album after this smash or even after UP :hoetenks:

but yeah this bop is ICONIC

Not the comments in Cardi threads starting to resemble rhetoric in Normani threads :deadbanana2:

OT: WAP was an absolute moment, her and Megan did what NEEDED to be done. However Cardi a fool for not releasing the album back then.

The fact that Cardi took a throwaway verse from an old ass song and made it into WAP. :toofunny3:

The old hasbeens never had a moment like this..i see why they mad.

I love Cardi but it really was dumb of her to not release an album straight after WAP or up

Not really a song you go back and play but the lyrcics made me chuckle. It was a cute moment

very massive moment in pop culture. this song and cardis fame were literally inescapable to the gp. two years later still no album and bad songs. very bad choices were made with this roll out

How I love it when this happens! :jonny5:Reminds me how The Weeknd took verses from this unreleased song and turned them into two smashes - "Starboy" (0:38) and "Low Life" (1:40-1:56).

OT: An undeniably iconic moment in recent music. Cardi and Megan did such an amazing job, and the outrage was hilarious to watch. It was also a cool way to solidify that this generation of female rappers would unite instead of beefing with each other.

It kind of is. WAP has been one of the biggest cultural moments of the 2020s. WAP has basically becoming a part of common vocabulary. :rip:

She dropped the ball by not releasing an album when WAP was smashing :toofunny3:
