I’ve been in a coma

Featured Replies

Hey, so this was a couple of days ago but I’ve just now been released from the hospital. Some time late last week I had a kind of mental breakdown episode (never suffered with any mental health issues in the past) and one thing led to another and I ended up on a downward spiral that ended with me being induced into a coma.

It is the SCARIEST **** ever to wake up from. You have no memory of anything and because of the hospital environment and lightning/healthcare workers uniforms it’s kind of like you’ve been abducted by aliens for a second. It’s all so weird. My boyfriend has been there with me everyday and was thankfully able to stay in my room with me at night since I’ve been awake, but with all this **** about renaissance, tiny dancer and Britney apparently being pregnant it feels like I was out for 20 years.

Exactly bestie! A new day has come, thank god you're here with us for another new day

What was it like? Just black? I've heard a lot of people say they dream while they're in comas and their dreams weave in with the real world

i'm so sorry about that hon, I cannot imagine how scary that must be...

I'm glad you're back and safe!

Welcome back and wish you the best recovery.

But did you live another life (like parallel universe) whike you were in the coma.

Holy ****, did it start with anxiety? How you feeling now?

It started with like depression and I began to self medicate with different pills and that was going on for like a year and a half, then one day last week it all got too much and I took as many pills as I had, drank a bottle of vodka, literally ran through a corn field naked with police/ambulance/family chasing me and then woke up in hospital.

Glad you’re back! Imagine waking up from a coma and you wake up to Beyoncé snatching a #1. :WAP:

I was happy to hear the album that’s for sure! An instant classic.

It’s just black and you don’t really have much memory of how you got there for the first day or so and it’s confusing because everyone is trying to explain it to you, but you literally have no recollection. It could be different for others though.

How do you feel?

Now, I feel very rough still but definitely much better. A little embarrassed because of the way my neighbours saw me acting, but it is what it is.
