Also all of these songs sound like they’re exclusively produced by dr Luke lol who’s saying that he’s not involved in them? Isn’t he her main producer ? He sounds extremely involved production wise

At least for me his production style is very unique. Even when he was ghostproducing for other artists i knew it was him. He def had a huge part on these songs

Deeper is a CAREER song, so good omg

 

This album is good. Full of bops. Definitely not her best work but its a good pop album.

i feel like this is honestly pretty consistent overall. The major issue that is lacks a huge standout moment like Heart To Break, Do Me, Personal Hell, etc. But as an overall project its definitely way more consistent than either Era 1 and/or Clarity (especially the 2nd) 

 

it isnt the masterpiece debut album that we know she is capable of making but this is still better than 90% of the actual pop albums released this year so far

I don’t think it’s a horrible album, it’s just consistently mid. Some tracks are straight up trash (ie. Love Ya Leave Ya, Treat Me Like A Hoe) and there’s some really strong efforts (ie. Revelations, All She Wants, Deeper)

 

Im curious to know everyone’s top 3 and bottom 3 ?

Maybe i'm biased bc i'm a stan and i love Kim but... i loved the album.

 

I don't think this would make her shine next to other girls though. These songs could've been by Ava, Zara, Mabel... and this is no shade bc i love and support them all, it's just that it's faceless pop music.

 

I'm a basic gay so i LIVE for carefree generic pop but this wouldn't take her career anywhere as she wants to. This album would just please her stans and people who already enjoy her music, but wouldn't caught the attention of the average listener, so i get why Republic stopped her from releasing this.

 

There are some highlights such as the singles, All She Wants, Revelations, Deeper... and some filler like Confessions, Sex Talk, Love Ya Leave Ya. Clarity was more consistent throughout the tracklist, but this is far better than Slvt Pop.

Also Problématique reminds me of Poster Girl by Zara, i would love a remix

Dance to Forget is a rough demo, Treat Me Like a Hoe is a Slvt Pop reject and Sex Up For Fun is a old Era 1 outtake

couple things to note:

- “Confessions” is actually “Confession”

- The missing songs are titled “Dirty Things” and “Keep It”

- It was initially believed that the Hoe song was titled “His Hoe” but it’s actually “Treat Me Like A Hoe”

- There is no official tracklist spreading yet, just a known bunch of 18 songs in no specific order

- Future Starts Now is Track 1, Coconuts is Track 5 (Kim confirmed)
