Sabrina Carpenter is very pretty and talented.

She's been serving visuals and choreo with Fast Times (if Dua Lipa released this song it would've been a hit) and Because I Liked A Boy, but the views are tragic and radio won't play her. She got better video views prior to the Olivia/Joshua drama (her music was better then, but her new songs are decent).

Skin was her first song to chart on Hot 100, but still didn't do much, and she hasn't been able to top it chart-wise with any of her following singles.

Even Dove Cameron got a top 20 viral hit recently, why can't Sabrina?

If every singer were to have success, then that would be impossible because there's no market for it!

What sabrina is doing is actually creating a healthy music industry! Her being in that situation is what guarantees power to Taylor, Rihanna, Beyonce, Gaga (etc.) over everyone else!

And talent always wins in the end, she doesn't really need to worry about it!

tbh i dont get sabrinas appeal, shes pretty bland to me personally

with that said, theres a lot of bland songs on hot 100 all the time so maybe they arent pushing her enough? maybe if they payed for the radio + playlisting shed do better

Well what went wrong? Trying to evolve into a Julia Michaels double.

Her new album is good, it will help her build a solid fanbase with time and the hype for her next project will be even better.

 

 

Jumping from the Ariana cosplay into basically sounding like a Julia Michael soundalike was so jarring. 

She’s simply has no identity or push. I only discovered her because ATRL’s promo during the release of fast times
