Not surprised knew she was destined for greatness from the first time I heard Singular Act 1 

I think she just spoke to her small yet loyal and passionate fanbase, made an album that’s trendy in sound yet still feels personal. If the album reaches more people will depend on if the online buzz continues past release (not only on Twitter but TikTok too) and if she gets better playlisting on streaming, a radio single, online and televised performances, etc. I hope Island is taking note of the album outdoing expectations, especially considering everything  after Skin last year performed worse commercially than Skin did
