DJ Sammy's "Heaven": Appreciation Thread

Haven't seen much love about this absolute classic on this forum. It's time we sit and talk about how amazing it is.

A cover of an already emotional masterpiece, it kept its emotional touch despite being an eurodance track and a absolute bop.

Hands down, one of the most recognizable dance songs during the 2000's.

Literally graduations, wedding, funerals, etc..

A classic. They don't make masterpieces like that anymore. One of the rare cases where cover is way better than original.

I miss these early 2000s dance songs :jonnycat:

A CLASSIC, THE CANDLELIT VERSION IS ALSO GREAT

Yess I was obsessed with the candlelight version back in the day :jonny:so pretty

A BOP!!!  Almost as good as the original, which is quite the feat with covers :clap3:

This song is ORGASM.

But I always preferred Boys of Summer.

The closest comparisons to the feeling of nostalgic rush this song gives me, are probably “Everytime We Touch” & “Seek Bromance”. There was crack in the music, they don’t make them like that anymore.
