After the massive success of Future Nostalgia which musical direction do you think Dua will go for her third studio album? 

 

In an interview with NME last month she said that the next album is 50% done and that it is going to have “its own unique sound“ and in that sense will be different from Future Nostalgia*

 

So what do you expect/hope for and when do you think the new era will start?

 

 

 

 

That’s what I think will happen:

 

Assuming she won‘t add any more dates, the tour will finish in mid-November in Australia. I feel like she‘s going to take a break after the tour and come back in spring 2023. As for the musical style of the next album, I have absolutely no idea what it‘s going to sound like.

experimental dance pop

i think it will be a real shocker if she leaves mabel sound and goes for adele type of ballads

She will get the Katy Perry treatment, 2, 3 eras with overplayed singles and then disposed.

I’m hoping she works on her vocals this time. In some songs she sounds bored & lack emotion. 

She will break her own TTH residency record.

And there will be soft-rock ballads like Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars and a rock-rock track too, featuring Kings of Leon

hope she includes Cold Heart and Potion in the deluxe version just for see certain people start crying. 

Funk influenced pop with her own twist like when Bruno Mars was popular.

A good balance of dance bops and ballads/mid tempos. Oh and more featured artists.

This, she's gonna give us dark Timabaland esque bops

Hopefully something that brings out her personality

Hopefully bring more refreshing sounds like FN did in 2020 and doesn't go back to the same old, vapid bubblegum synth pop that her debut was.

She's notorious for trend hopping so whatever is the trend right now will be her sound for DL3. She will add sweetest pie, cold heart and potion to dl3 to inflate the streams
