All of this. I'm not a fan but I totally understand why he's so popular, esp with Gen Z

I genuinely like him

-he isn't boring like some other pop boys..and u can tell he is talented and skillful in what he does

-makes good music,cute visuals

-never says a bad thing about others, pushes kindness and acceptance

no. hes so boring to me. i try to listen to his music but it just sounds like music that plays on the background on a starbucks cafe. hes smoke and mirrors bc he tries to sell hes such a subversive figure but his music lacks identity. im not saying its bad just plain

He makes good music, is attractive, and actually puts in effort. So yes!

his music is so unremarkable it makes his queerbating all the more laughable. He’s dressed up like a modern Bowie yet his music lacks any identity. And unlike Bowie, he’s dressed like any run of the mill cos straight guy in sweats when he’s of the clock. There is no Harry styles, he is a corporate focus group.

His voice is Brit Spears/Selena Gomez level, he isn’t attractive at all and the queer baiting is embarrassing, his music is as basic as one could ever get

It's definitely understandable. He's not ugly and has a nice voice. In fact, he sings better than most of ATRL faves.

I was a bit surprised by him doing so well, I knew the last singles he released were major hits, but I always thought he was just a GP artist, surprised he has a large fanbase that was waiting to stream his album. 

 

I do get the appeal in the sense that he puts out good/ok music and has an interesting aesthetic + is attractive + a male, all of the makings to have a large fanbase compromised mainly of girls from 15 to 25 years old
