i dont even think theres a trend. i literally think people are rediscovering it on their own. well at least i havent seen a massive trend or anything.

To think that just 3 years ago it had less than <200m streams and its gonna hit 1B streams this year is insane.  Really shows that it lost A LOT of streams during its first 3 years that it wasnt available on Spotify.

Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but it's always usually the first song coming up on Spotify after I play something that isn't in a playlist/album, those so called "Spotify radios". 

 

It's one of her best singles, deserves the surge
