First of all, stop tagging me, losers. I ain't reading any of that. All I can say is that I am very happy. It has, indeed, been a great week for the Camilizers. We truly won. Camila's put out an acclaimed body of work. The reviews have all been very positive and no, I don't count that one review written by a pressed Shawn Mendez stan who described Shan's break-up singles as 'successful' (they won't even outstream DGY on Spotify). As for the album's sales and streams, she hasn't fallen that much from Romance given the fact that this time around she doesn't have a tour and a huge smash lead singel like 'Senorita' to support it, so the album is doing fine, everything considered. After all, Camila is sitting nicely in the top 10 of Global Spotify chart with her hit single 'Bam Bam', like a global pop girl that she is. She has 47 Million monthly Spotify listeners and a global hit. But back to the music, which is what matters the most. Familia is a cohesive 12-tracks album with no skips. Every song is an undeniable bop. Even Pitchfork praised it and gave it the most descriptive analysis of all the reviews. I was genuinely surprised by the meaning behind 'Lola', Cabello is truly a lyrical genius and a respected Latina artist and who is even yet to grow. Bye.

If ANY other MPG would've done such numbers, you all would be some of the first people to have a field day. However, when it comes to Camila, her terribly low sales (after literally getting some of the biggest male singers to sing in one of her tracks) and low buzz are suddenly justified by such nonsensical reasons? A mess, indeed 

It's a mega bomb no doubt about it. There is no way to spin 25k as a positive. She had SNL, Today's Top Hits residency, several features, a high profile break-up narrative in the media.
