Nayeon snippet didn't sound great. Sounds like she's preparing to serve a strained and screaming circus show.

she’s such a one-of-a-kind idol who is fresh and has her own personality but still is in lieu with a typical Kpop idol persona. I’m so glad she’s finally getting her moment (even though lbr she was getting her moment when she was hogging lines from Jeongyeon for years in Twice )

The sneak peaks are probably gonna be clips and then the album preview just the usual compilation, it looks like a fair amount of teasers imo, trailer + 3 sets of pics + spotlight for the bsides + the usual 2 mv teasers  the only thing that wasn't needed was that tiktok snippet

They aren’t bad per se and of course there are gems in their bsides as any other groups (I like Voices)…but for me, Enhypen, txt and Cix are already releasing better music as 4th gen bgs so I’m not gravitated towards the noise anymore. I was hooked with District 9, miroh and until Back Door ngl though.

SM acts don't usually do well on Spotify & their sound\image isn't appealing to casual listeners I guess. 

It was clear from the start that aespa's sound & concept is way more suited for Asian audiences rather than a global audience.

We're yet to see what this new global launch deal with Warner will bring but I think it will attract new audiences to aespa. 

 

Illusion (a surprise release B-side) is already doing great.

 

Shiroma Miru (Produce 48) performed her first solo single “Shine Bright” and it’s giving Koda Kumi X Itano Tomomi making K-Pop music. I’m genuinely loving it.

aespa is the gg with one of the most pleasing/unique vocal colors for me. Ninging, Winter and Karina have great singing voices. Like I love Karina's voice during the second verses of Lucid Dream and I'll Make You Cry, Winter's ad libs in Lucid Dream, and Ninging singing over the second chorus of Illusion.
