I think Giselle seeing the hate could be helpful, as long as she takes it the right way. I genuinely like her and I think she's a positive addition to Aespa, but her dancing is starting to stand out more than it did in the beginning of their career when she was more rehearsed.

 

She's not the worst dancer ever in terms of raw ability, it's more her stamina that's the issue. The energy is just not there on a consistent basis. That's something she can work on. 

 

People are of course overstepping and being cruel and evil towards her but you know, 15 year old stans be that way

Giselle is just an easy target right now. It's a cycle that happens in K-pop all the time. The bigger the group, the easier it is to find the biggest crippling point. Wonyoung was literally the most hated idol just late last year.

 

They'll move on to someone else eventually.

Karina in all honestly sounds better rapping than Giselle (compare their raps in Girls)

 

And Giselle is hugely noticeable in performances for not even being remotely close to keeping up.

 

The girl looks like she was chosen out of a group of random people and thrown into the group with no training, no effort, nothing.

 

I don't think SM has ever had such a blatantly bad performer in a girl group. Even their main singers/visuals from previous GGs were leagues better than Giselle who isn't a main singer or visual. Literally her main purpose is talking English in interviews.

It’s crazy how aespa doesn’t have a strong dancer. Every SM groups has some of the best dancers. While aespa has none, an extra member who can dance wouldn’t have been a bad idea tbh.

I like Giselle but Helen or Hina would have been better options if The group was limited to 4 girls max.

No Giselle is miles better at rapping than Rina. Rina is the standard SM rap no passion no vision. Her raps are the same no matter what song you listen to. At least Giselle has writing credits towards her name and shows new rap styles. 
 

And yes Amber was very bad at performing. And Krystal was also. You could never go a single day without a new pann talking about Krystal’s lazy dancing. You can come at Giselle for mediocre dancing talent, but her stage presence is always there. Always serving new face and energy. Even when Aespa was getting dragged for their stages, Ning and Giselle were the ones who were always talked about being great on the stage especially in front of a crowd. 

Many of you are missing the point that when Jessica, Jennie, Wonyoung etc received hate they were among the most popular in their group. Not that it makes it any better, but there is still quite a difference and I sincerely hope Giselle is receiving mental health counseling because it seems companies  / groups can be quite cruel to underperformers behind the scenes and could potentially add to any regression. Aespa is already so small with four members it's amplified as well.

I blame kpop stans for thinking dancing is the only thing a idol can bring to the table. And anything lower they don’t belong in the group. That’s why I keep seeing tweets and Reddit post about how some itzy girl should be in Aespa. Fully knowing how their voices are. And Giselle has more vocal support than all of them.

Funny how just 3 months ago Giselle "shined the most" and Winter was the deadweight at Coachella (just look up this thread) and now Giselle has never keep up with other girls?

 

U guys are so flickle  Everybody can afford an off day

 

It's not like a million other female idols have not been dragged for bad dancing either
