Well the tweet I just linked mentioned that RV has the second highest selling album for girl groups on hanteo. We all know the physical market keeps increasing but the fact they’re doing better than 4th gen and also Twice on hanteo with this album is not something anyone saw coming. A reminder Itzy were outselling and IVE were selling on par.

 

A lot of 4th gen groups have members who have built up fanbases over the last few years before debuting or are debuting from the Big 3 in this gen so it’s not really like it’s from nowhere. It’s still an achievement and especially for RV

It's fine, you're serving facts. Something others seem incapable of doing in here. 

 

Red Velvet sold 400k+ in under a week. The only other girl group doing that so far is BLACKPINK.

 

Considering RV went from RVF: Finale taking a year to sell like 99k to RVF: 2022 selling 550k in a month....that is a MAJOR achievement for a group who, according to this thread, was shelved and over since 2020

Well funnily enough they did do an interview with Elle Japan recently. Should get a spread in the magazine for May? Potentially anyway.

 

They’ve done magazine covers solo and quite a good amount as a group too but nowadays SM only really gives them YT content as promo now unfortunately but I’d love to be proven wrong in May.

O.O is not great but i still enjoy it, TANK on the other hand is SOTY

they did very well I’m shocked. Sing Sing and Visuélle CLEARED

I really hope that with how twice grew internationally, SM follows and give Red velvet more global promotions! I want the 3rd gen gg to keep stomping and serve even more longevity
