Her darkest albums are Boys for Pele, Choirgirl and Venus imo, but most albums still have some songs that tend to that sound. Check out Precious Things and Sugar from her debut, Waitress from Under The Pink, Carbon from Scarlet's Walk, Give from Abnormally Attracted to Sin, title track from the Beekeeper … though I would still advise to listen to the albums in full.

She talked bout Trent in a recent interview, btw. They're still good friends, so I don't think too much bridges have been burned!

So first of all, she looked absolutely AMAZING.

She began with Fire in Your Plain, oddly this arrangement works in its favour cause otherwise I'm rather indifferent to it (hopefully this tour also has a Spotify release).

Now...one of my favourite moments: Iieee, the masterpiece that you are. She was phenomenal on it, very raw vocals, definitely a tour highlight.

@Haze you were right, Shush hits way differently live than on a video. The whole theater was catching their breath when she sang the penthouse part.

Ruby and Mary I don't really mind, I could exchange them with new songs tbh.

She debuted Pretty Good Year which was a nice surprise but I'm still unsure if it was a good choice vocal wise (her husky voice goes well with the chorus though).

Witness was also one of my highlights, I love the song since I listened to the beekeeper, and with the Angels, the track took off, she also seemed to have a lot of fun with it.

She did Winter completely on herself, the only song she did so, maybe she got told that a lot of fans wanted to see her rely less on the background vocals.

The encore was ok (I wanted Cornflake Girl), but it made me somewhat appreciate Big Wheel (the album production is tragic)

10/10, will go again when she tours Europe.

At my Amsterdam gig she did Mary after a lot of slow songs and it did really put some fire back into the set, even though I agree it's an inessential Tori song.

Glad you had a wonderful time @Démodé! Witness is indeed a highlight on this tour, incredibly fun. I too hope this tour gets a live album.

She keeps signing off every tour post on insta with 'can't wait to be back' so I get the feeling she's really enjoying herself. She's having a creative renaissance of sorts, imo, it must be nice for her to be able to play some of her best songs without necessarily having to hit all the higher notes herself.

In our case Mary came almost fter Iieee and shush, so it was simply...there. Ruby was fine though, I have to say I prefer the studio than the live version for now.

Yeah, I haven't listened myself but I heard from someone else that they thought the Ruby version of this tour wasn't the best. The Diving Deep version is really good though.

she did a Wildwood improv at the last show

I keep thinking about how she's said in a recent interview Professional Widow wasn't so much a Courtney Love diss track (though I think it is partly that too) as about her father. Through that lens that song becomes kind of crushing. And the fact that she could only write her current album now her father has died adds another layer.

Compare it to her mother, who has received multiple songs full of love ...
