I'll never forget her performing that way from her 2020 debut EP on Seth Meyers in Oct 2021 when the lead single from her debut album was coming in Nov.

Or not performing exes/revolving door on SNL and performing grave/dear god.

Or doing a tour right before releasing her debut album then not touring the album till 2023 and then not performing most of the songs from the album 💀

Or performing she's all I wanna be in 2023 at the Junos over a year after it had peaked. Mind you 10:35 was the current single then.

to be fair she's all i wanna be is probably her biggest GP hit in Canada. 10:35 wasn't a promoted single in Canada.

I'm expecting a single announcement within the next week with it being released next Friday

i'm thinkinggg october 1st we get the single announcement, but it's not for tm4 but to promote her perfume she's been teasing. I'd gag

if it flops because of xmas season it wouldn't really matter 'cause it's not a lead and we'd get new music to bop to until the real rollout

since radical optimism i'm always wary of the pre/post christmas rollout, too much time for things to go wrong

i actually love the Lead single in Q4 and album + 2nd single in Q1 2027 rollout.

and parfume campaign + album promotions can co-exist you guys.

I'll never complain about getting music sooner rather than latter but Q4 - Q1 rollouts does not make sense unless you're huge like Beyonce, Taylor, Adele, or so small that its better to release in Q1 when there is less competition.

For a current pop girl Q2 - Q3 is the perfect window. That's why Billie, Olivia and Sabrina always release around this time. There's more competition, but there's more attention as well. For me, a Q1 release for a rising MPG feels like the team is unsure that they can smash when there's peak competition.

Today i find out So Close To Whay by Tate Mcrae outsold + charted Adele's last album + Beyonce's last 3.

Today i find out Tate's Sophomore album THINK LATER spend over 124 weeks on Billboard 200 which is more than any Gaga album starting from her own Sophomore 'Born This Way'.

And i was also very much impressed all Tate albums are above 70+ on Mediatraffic.

she reposted many of her posts and stories where she wore the perfume necklace and the brand name was out weeks before and if you look it up the brand is focusing on perfumes, body mists etc.
