Selena was a good host though, and my fave sketch was probably "Old Enough". Really liked her in the monologue too and loved how hard the audience was cheering as she walked in. And thank GOD she was left out of that cold open 

SNL has lost some of its spark and this season hasn't been consistent but I actually thought Selena's has been one of the better ones: all the sketches had their moments and all the actors were funny in them, which can't be said for other episodes this season. Even Posty did great in the two skits he was on. 

 

Now imagine if she actually gets a Guest Actress nom, that would be amazing. But let's not jinx it lol

There's so many viable contenders for Guest Actress that I feel like it's unlikely, but they always do the most to insert SNL in everything and she's definitely among the female guests of the season who'd have the best chances. It's also worth noticing that they don't always submit every guest for consideration, so they might not even submit non-actors such as Kim K or Billie or Lizzo

That's true, I think the rest (Selena, Ariana, Zoe and Natasha) could all get in, although I do not see it for Zoe and they might nominate Ariana just because of her Oscar win and I guess Natasha since she is established in comedy. I'll pray either way!

Omg yes I was so nervous when I saw the first sketch was about the trial

I was able to watch her monologue and a few of her skits. She did so well! She got right into what she had to do and succeeded! She looked and acted perfectly.

Technically the set number is 6, but I believe that if votes for the 6th and 7th in line are in the same vicinity (2% vicinity I think) they make it a tie. I think there's a strong chance it happens this year since outside of 2/3 locks, there's about 10 other actresses fighting for the remaining slots and all have their strenghts and weaknesses in equal measure, so it'd make sense for them to be really close in votes

I literally can’t wait to see if she is doing Roundtable and Actors on Actors. I mean she has to right? She is in the Emmy conversation and is a big name/draw which equals views and attention to both series. And its not like Im excited to listen to what she and the others have to say about the craft but to see Selena interacting with other actors lol

Really hope we get some new music in the next couple weeks. Im so ready to have new Selena be the soundtrack to my summer.

I believe there is a collab (or plans to). She has used Lizzo sounds a few times, followed her on IG last August during that follow spree and now this. It may be a remix of ADT, for Selena’s album or for Lizzo’s (as a last minute addition, after all she hasn’t revealed the tracklist herself officially)

Then i hope is ADT remix. Selena likes this song a lot and it's pulling great numbers. A perfect match lol

With the right push this song can easily get a #3, maybe even a #1, with the radio support
