Best chance for Emilia Pérez at the Oscar is Best International Feature Film

if it's commercially successful, its open the chance for other awards, but it's a long shot

 

As for the Palma D'or, it has a good chance. Biggest competitor is "The Seed of the Sacred Fig" which will be presented Friday

Exciting news about Netflix buying Emilia Perez. Hopefully it comes out true. They're good for promo when they want to  and they're very good for award shows too, right? 

 

i wanted it at the movies but at the end of the day it's still an indie movie, it would never be a blockbuster. Netflix and a small cinema release can work really well for this project.

she's always putting herself down and thinking she's not capable of doing anything. She also says she's "not the best" in anything, why would a director or a fan pay attention to somebody that is always despising their own self?
