Jlo was an actual backup dancer but her performances never gave that bc she knew how to put the focus on herself and stand out, idk why Tate can't accomplish that bc in that sports car VMAs performance it looks like she's performing for someone else who isn't on the screen, she can't quite make it about herself despite being up there performing her own songs with her own routines.
