Even though i still love her a lot. I don’t quite stan her like i used to…i mean what’s the point now ? No new music + no tour in 8 years and nothing to look forward to in the near futur…she barely interacts with her fans on social media, even fashion-wise she doesn’t serve like she used to…i think i’m just very frustrated at this point.
 

Man if someone would’ve told me in 2016 that there would still be no new album in sight after 8 years i wouldn’t’ve believed them but here we are

The problem with "why are you still stanning" is that there is really no one else to stan among mainstream popgirls. Of course, most of us stan less mainstream artists in parallel. But if you look at the pool of MPG artists to stan, the pickings are very slim.

For me Ariana Grande in terms of sound  is the closest to Rih so i started to gravitate more towards her music lately…Beyonce is great but just not my cup of tea…and couldn’t care less about LG, TS or Nicki Minaj.

You cannot compare Ariana's music to Rih... when every song from ariana has the same vibe (it's the same with Dua)

 

Even if I can enjoy them BOTH (I actually like them both), none of them has the same vibe as Rih.

 

The only one that came close was Doja Cat in her first album, in terms of sound, attittude and feeling.
