Born Again is the better ballad and is at least in the same calibre as the Home ost. Like with BA I actually see myself replaying it a lot.  

If she'd released Born Again instead of LMU I think BA would be doing better than LMU is doing. 

 

It actually sounds like a song for one not a lullaby or alarm tone. 

 

And no I'm not a success stan I just want quality music which LMU is not.

I for one love LMU. But Born Again is so much better than it. Her vocals are better and I like how the song builds.

Born Again's production also builds up near the end. It's great.

For one, she actually sounds like herself. 

Born Again sounds really really good. Much better than LMU or Close to You and would take the Oscar home easily I think. She would perform it there too and it would be so sick. With LMU I can’t be sure… I wish she came back with this instead ugh. They probably went with LMU cause it’s relatively more catchy and repetitive but those don’t really matter if the song is boring as hell do they

Born Again sounds good but I definitely understand why they went with Lift Me Up. This song doesn’t sound like it would work at all on radio nor among playlists   It’s very cinematic and dramatic in a way that wouldn’t hold up very well as a promoted single for a returning artist.

I’d be curious to hear the backstory of it. Sounds like a leftover that Rih gave Disney that coincidentally could be applied to Black Panther 

 

Where as LMU sounds like a cinematic song specifically made for the movie. I mean there’s a reason why ppl who saw the movie keep repeating this

My exact thoughts. Very creative. The choreo and the music selection was fantastic. This is the creative energy we need for the Super Bowl just with more fireworks and stuff lol.

It doesn't sound promising at all and would not perform well.

 

I hope the next music we get is R9 and that we get it early next year!

 

 

Definitely the SxF vol. 4 is the best one so far.
