Is SB going to be pre-recorded fully? Is that the norm? Did previous performers did that as well? I always keep hearing about everyone doing it but most times I can’t tell if it’s live vocals or not

Yeah they pretty much all use pre-recorded vocals except for Lady Gaga I believe. I have a hard time telling too but you can tell that Lady Gaga is getting out of breath by the end which is how you know it's real.

 

I am sure Rihanna will pre-record her vocals.

Rihanna’s Wakanda Forever was amazing. Very easily better than the first. It was very smart of her to use this as a platform to Rihintroduce herself to the musical landscape because this film just *screams* acclaim. 
 

While I’m not *in love* with either song, I do enjoy them both and play them 4-5 times a day. I’m ready for the bops tho. I’ve always hated the pretentious notions regarding critical acclaim because I think it sucks the fun out of music (and Rih’s fun and diverse discography is why she’s my fav). I hope she doesn’t lean too much into chasing acclaim because I don’t want boring music for R9. Either way, I’m still very excited to see what she does next 

The songs get whole new meaning in the film. 

 

Both placed spectacularly and LMU screams Oscars tbh. 

 

At least a nod.
