The more I play this album, the more I enjoy it even more. I'm slowly getting into Take my time it's nice but I feel like it could've been better. This album overall is a nice way to introduce herself. For her sophomore album I think she should sing more on uptempos since she mostly sang on mid tempos.

 

Is there any truth to this ? I did think Megan would have been a good fit for Still actually as soon as I heard it .

@wheresjay can I ask you something? Out of all the songs on the final track list how many were there on the track list from Butterfly Effect? 

if a version of still does exist with meg I feel like they might be saving it for a single 'remix'

 

it probably isn't true though - still doesn't feel like its missing a feature, Issa hit

1:59 was a bad way to introduce us to the album imo. Should've been Lights On or All Yours.

@wildsidenormani now that it's out- are you able to disclose if Meg was supposed to be featured on one of the released tracks or was it a diff song altogether? And if so - have you heard it? My only irk is that we missed out on a potential Meg collab

I got the OG file for the album cover pic, and it's flipped horizontally and has a July 2023 date. 

 

Makes me feel like the album rollout was supposed to start that Summer / Fall but got delayed. 

 Regardless of the album's numbers, it's clear she has exceeded many expectations and delivered an outstanding body of work. She's playing the long game, setting herself up for a successful long-term career. This won't be her peak, and I believe more people will support her after this.

longevity is definitely the goal here and the album will have legs and run for a while. i guarantee it.
