I don't have anything new to add, but just some thoughts:

I am excited to hear the album in full.  I know this is not a couple of random songs just thrown together.  I am sure this will be a collection of songs that were thoughtfully made, and grouped together. It is going to sound consistent. I bet there are going to be beautiful instrumentals from variety of producers and beautiful vocals/audio engineering

WheresJay says this is a full project - yay - and he says there are sonically interesting songs than the Rocket demo. I look forward to it.

This is me nerding out, but I know this album is going to be a work of art.  For RnB and pop lovers alike.  And this album is going to be like a love letter or homage to late 90s/early 2000s music.

so after running a streaming farm this entire weekend i think i've figured out why the song isn't my cup of tea

• gunna's verse being bang in the middle of the song right when you're just about to get into it just ruins the flow of it for me
• the repetition of 'boy, what you gon' do' four times in the hook is really cloying

Same. We just need to get CP before the album drops. She's got decent goodwill with urban radio programmers right now so I'm hoping to be surprised by 1:59 adds.

 

The lane is wide open for her to take over and something just feels different this time around. I'm maintaining the optimism as much as I can.

Im assuming Coco does better on Apple Music or Pandora but still, Normani's potential is still massive despite her limited music output

Kinda off-topic, but it's just odd to me that they'd split now. Coco's been doing very well the last 12 months.

I'm trying to see how soon they gone get whatever she's working on to us.. before she ended the live she said ' let me get back 2 it so I can quickly give it 2 u guys'  hope it won't take 3 weeks and some change
