Calvin's album is alledgely coming on the 24th (and I 100% believe it is). The thought of us possibly getting 4 Normani songs in a matter of 2 months. Wow.

There could be several reasons as to why they’re asking fans not to tbh. Maybe she doesn’t have permission yet? And she might not wanna keep fans waiting awhile if she doesn’t have a release date set/video ready?

I think they’re trying not to get it pushback further. Label politics and all that. She really seemed sure that it was going to drop in May. 

Side note but it really seems like the worst period to be on a major label. These newer artist aren’t getting the real support and push they need from the labels.

All that stuff with her mom and nation twitter so stupid but Nation isn’t wrong to want to build hype. They’re the only ones who actually do anything Normani and her team don’t say **** ever. In the last couples weeks I’ve become so much less excited starting not to give a damn atp. Yes, 100% agree. New artists are getting treated badly. The ones who dropped this year like Fivio Foreign and Coi Leray, did HORRIBLE despite having some of that new artist hype and tiktok following. It’s really weird what’s going on this year with music, BUT I think a lot has to do with Covid being “over” so people are generally less into making music playlists and more into planning what they’re going to do, eat, travel, etc. 

 

If this whole thing doesn’t normalize for 2023, the music industry might low key be dead. Everyone will just drop yearly singles instead of albums/eps (like Normani thee trendsetter ) and never release full projects anymore. 

This is soo tiring. She’s going to release one day & nobody will care if she continues this once every generation Buffy movement.

Twitter Nation got someone with a viral tiktok of candy paint to delete it. 

 

Normani doesn’t need haters, her fans don’t want her to win. Leaks and snippets literally ARE the music industry now. Do they live under a rock???
