They saw those box office predictions and said QUICK MORE GAGA!!!  

The way we went from barely any Gaga in the trailers to MORE Gaga and her SINGING in this one

the new trailer has more Gaga than Joaquin they are really scrambling after the venice reviews that Gaga is underutilized  

She needs to post more about this movie and save the opening weekend numbers.

some monsters that have seen the film said that a lot of the scenes with solo gaga were not included in the final cut (like the one where she's dancing madly on the stairwell). Most critics have said that Gaga feels very underutilized and that Phillips should've used her character more than just propping up Joker. That's where a lot of the discourse comes from.

Like... has a movie ever been quickly edited to change it post festival and ratings before hitting theaters worldwide?

It's still her biggest movie yet  Of course she should be 100% all-in on promoting. If she cared about critical reviews and sales, she would've abandoned most of her projects for one reason or another.

 

Also imagine the impact on her reputation? "Oh, I didn't get the Oscar buzz I wanted, screw all of you!"

Shes pushing 40, not 15..

I ain't moving unless they change the actual runtime.

so we don't show support to her project because it might do bad commercially? The project isn't coming out yet. If that's the energy, then LG7 lead is in shambles since it's likely to be a mediocre success as well.

a few very specific annoying users in here who overreacted to the reviews and spiraled. I've actually seen the movie and two things for sure were cut, based on what we saw them filming

but you're right, he filmed for a month longer than her, so it was kinda in the DNA of the project that this was going to happen.

Probably just contractual promo  lets move on from it like we did for HoG

So now they wanna show more Gaga.. this should have been the first trailer, the movie looks great
