You're wrong, respectfully. This Joker only cover is for the Score soundtrack, which is different from the ones with Gaga and Joaquin singing (there's two soundtracks). They even mentioned this is for the score in the OP. 

This fan base is serving real Joker delulu. Everything's going as planned. Y'all got some weird as delulu expectations. Can't wait to see Joker 2. So pumped!!

It's insane how much they disrespected her throughout this whole process.

 

This should have never been a jukebox musical in the first place. You have one of the greatest singers of this generation, yet decide to not incorporate original music. WTF. An original score would have elevated this movie to the next level. 

 

Also I saw that her scenes got cut too. I'm not sure how integral those scenes were to the movie, but whatever. To me, the first movie was just OK so my expectations are not really high.

It's so crazy that we got a 6th single from BTW 12 years later

The premise of the movie is that Joker (and Harley) are using familiar standards and pop music to connect with. The original Joker included standards too. Would make no sense for a majority of the album to be new songs when it's already well established that the universe has the same music as us.

The way we all stopped caring about JFAD overnight. Nnnn I really hope the gp and other critics see that Gaga was so wronged in this film. 

The way everything is going the right way with music and the opposite with the movie   yeah but it's quite clear that there's sth wrong. The vibe isnt very nice around the movie.

so the pre sales for joker so far seem like really bad like "the marvels" and "the flash" levels of bad i cant f believe 

apparently its doing better than beetlejuice day 1 so far and that movie opened with 100M

It really feels like the hype peaked with the first teaser and since then it's just been going downhill. Nothing's set in stone but the vibe is definitely off... I was so excited for this (almost as much as a new album) but my expectations took a major blow since Venice and it's quite sad.

Hopefully LG7 lead will serve quality on all fronts because then I will definitely forget this in a heartbeat.

They're comparing this film to frontloaded superhero films like Marvel and Flash etc just because there are two DC characters in them. People know this film is a serious character film, not action superhero flicks, people won't be rushing to buy tickets the first hours/day like Marvel/DC fans do.
