do you all remember that kworb-like website that we used to track ASIB's fandango ticket sales? Is that site still a thing?  

Can I just say... I disgree with Liddos who now have a hesitation about seeing this movie just because Gaga doesn't have as much screen time as they expected.

 

One, she's in half the movie which is a decent amount of Gaga time. Two, it's good to expose yourself to all kinds of art even if you think it may not be your thing. I haven't seen the first Joker but I'm excited to see the kind of story and larger narratives/concepts that these professionals are all trying to bring to life here. Gaga being in the movie is a beautiful TABS cherry on top. In fact, I credit Gaga with exposing me to all kinds of art. It's highly unlikely that I would have ever exposed myself to jazz or rock or alternative genres of movies if it weren't for her involvement.

 

I think ASIB spoiled our thinking when it comes to her movie projects and we should learn to appreciate everything she's involved with no matter the scale or general outcome.

How's pre sale going? Its been up for pre sale for a while now. 

 

 

I've just seen an ad of 1st Joker is getting re-release in theatres Sept 26. Is it worldwide? Or just my country?

Sanitized for TV and online advertising but also there was just two mass shootings in the US.

I have no problem with Supporting Actress. In fact I think the Academy would be more comfortable giving her an Oscar for that instead of Lead Actress. Also she's in half of the movie and the movie is like 2 and a half hours which sounds fine to me. I'm expecting a dark film but I'm also keeping my expectations reasonable. I mean we survived HOG which also had mixed reception. I don't see Joker 2 being worse than HOG. The visuals and musical element already look great. Gaga's acting looks great. I doubt she was ever going to be lead since she started filming more than a month later than Phoenix.

Oooo I'd love to go to the early fan premiere on the 30th for the collectible poster but I don't see any showtimes in my area yet. Hopefully tickets will be released soon

Ugh, her most underrated lead, it's so euphoric.

I wish Joanne was centered around that sound/aesthetic rather then the dead aunt route.

Yes and she got paid a lot for doing that, and most importantly it will be a big exposure for the demographics who normally do not consume her so
