How come we never got the filmtwit reactions to the original song in JFAD?

 

 

Since DWAS was super close to PPP in terms of chart points on the midweek predictions but it's been consistently ahead of it on streaming, I think there's a chance it moves up to #4 this week instead of #5. After that, I think it'll repeak at #2, and then it has a chance of getting up to #1 within the next few weeks assuming another song doesn't break out. While Taste is ahead on US Spotify (I'm not sure by how much, anyone know if the gap is growing or shrinking?), it seems like DWAS and Taste are going back and forth on topping US Apple Music, and DWAS is ahead on radio (and has the advantage of having more formats vs Taste).

i will always remember that moment. I remember watching the show live, the Fall Out Boy member and the other (i think it was the singer from the Good Girls Gone Bad song) presenting Lady Gaga and talking about how that performance was a dream for her and then….. AN EXPLOTION…..SOMETHING REALLY BAD IS HAPPENING… THERE'S A VOICE SCREAMING "what happened?" And Gaga is death on the floor. 
 

I remember thinking it was real. Someone really hurt Gaga and we all are watching her Death on LIVE TELEVISIÓN.

Taste has a 3,000,000+ weekly streaming advantage on Spotify at the moment and is catching up fast on radio. It's going to be a fight in later September/October between those two songs to topple A Bar Song.

Beyoncé literally launched Texas Hold 'Em on SB weekend this year. If anything, Interscope should book a 15 second commercial for LG7 during the SB

Well yeah... if Gaga was somehow involved in the Super Bowl that it could work, but I'm assuming she isn't as of now, but who knows.

Do you guys think the Joker OST will have replay value? Since she is singing as "someone who is not a singer"? Or does it not matter since it's just covers of old songs?

 

with the success of dwas i wonder if she will perform dwas or LG7 at grammys 2025.

i doubt it would have replay value which explains why she hard launching LG7 the same month.

They absolutely are reliable as they were the first ones posting about her returning to music back in 2023. Obviously Gaga takes a while to hone her craft and an artist of her stature does NOT have deadlines. Especially Interscope, which values artistic integrity and vision more than the average label. The timeline checks out, as Gaga was clearly working on LG7 in mid 2023 (hinted in her Nurtec-gate post) and confirmed in November 2023 when she posted the selfie in Henson studio. 

 

 

I'm not saying they are legit or not because I have no idea, but tbh anyone could have made an educated guess that she would return to making new music in the months after JFAD wrapped up. By that point it had already been three years since her last studio album and she was always going to start a new album at some point. Plus, tweeting just "Lady Gaga" in Feb 2023 definitely suggests she is coming soon, and yet we are over a year and a half later and still haven't heard the lead single or album. And saying that Interscope wanted a Billie type rollout for LG7 also is weird because it's clear the rollout will be very different from Billie's.

They were referring to capturing hype when mentioning Billie, who successfully launched HMHAS after wins at the Oscars and Grammy's earlier this year.
