This is disingenuous framing. On top of Joanne and Chromatica, she also released A Star is Born and Love 4 Sale.

 

A Star is Born was basically a Gaga album with 90% of the material being Gaga-led songs, many of them smashes. She's also more than a pop artist now so her jazz albums count, especially AOTY-nominated God for Sale.

 

Not to forget that every artist you mentioned bar Beyonce has released numerous filler albums in that time. The nerve to say "result to be a Joanne or Chromatica" like they aren't noteworthy projects.

 

 

My GCB things were supposed to be dispatched today from her UK store and so far it's crickets on that.

And let's stop with the false comparisons to Beyoncé. Her music was fun and high-quality. It's fine if you don't like it, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Plus, she gave her fans the tour of a lifetime. Did you attend? It was absolutely incredible. Meanwhile, Gaga is only giving us jazz covers, residencies, and what else? 

 

Five years. Let's not pretend they are the same cause they are not.

 

 

EDIT: This is coming from someone who misses her creativity in music. It's great if she wants to sing covers and act in movies, but when it comes to her music career, she's just not on the same level as someone like Beyoncé. She's more than a music artist, sure, but it's sad to see her spark missing for so long in that compartment

While I agree that Gaga's creative spark has been somewhat dim in the past few years, it's unfair to say Beyonce is on a "higher level" creatively speaking when she hires thousands of people to produce her work for her whereas Gaga has always played a huge and integral part in her own work (for better or worse).

Wait, that's not what I meant. Sorry if it came across wrong. I was just talking about her music output and the attention/care she gives to it. Gaga clearly has a lot on her plate—singing jazz covers, acting, and more—so I get that her music releases might be more spaced out. But for LG7, I hope to see the same level of care she used to put into her music. It doesn't even need to be compared to Beyoncé; I just wish her to care about her original music as much as she does her movies and residencies.

There is nothing wrong in getting help from professionals as long as the final product is TOP NOTCH

you never catch Bey releasing a turd MVs like PI, MR, SL, and underwhelming severely watered-down tracks to cater the radio audience.
