So first reactions in 28 days  gonna be quite the day

She will always face competition, maybe not significant, but this year she had numerous opportunities to release, and they simply didn't take them. Bey is ready to release her Chapter 3, Tay will release again, Ari has confirmed she will release soon (probably after Wicked), Riri is rumored to make a comeback in 2025, Chappell is huge now (thankfully) and will release her second album that will get a lot of attention. Artists release frequently nowadays. 

 

I doubt the reason of this endless wait is "we need to wait for the right time."

The "right time" is made, not something that just happens. By 2025, it will have been five years since Chromatica. FIVE. That's an insane amount of time. INSANE.

 

It's also worth mentioning that three months ago, she stated that this time her "soon" meant soon and not a long wait as usual. If the release is indeed set for 2025, it likely means the music wasn't up to par and needed reworking. But it doesn't make sense because she was so freaking happy about what she was producing  

 

I still think, as you, that at this point a release close to FaD is the most reasonable choice her team could make. But is her team reasonable? I have my doubts.

The base has been going through 5 stages of grief in random order for MONTHS. Oh Gags end our suffering please

As I've said, they will make sure she's releasing big-competition free. That's my opinion on it and I'm sure of it just as much as I am sure the release is close.

Deep down I have a bad feeling she's repeating the same mistake of overworking and overproducing the music for the FOURTH album in a row rn. A nightmare on all fronts

Just like how they took care of Chromatica or any track that went viral in tiktok.

 

The way chromatica could have been 2 weeks at number 1. But Bobby didn't do any ****.

Chrome lost #1 by like 1,000 copies in its 2nd week, right? Not a single sign of life from her team tho. Actually have PTSD from that HDD article being published

If she didn't have the talent or the fanbase which she built during the early stage her career would be in ditch under the current management.

Apart from lowering the price of the album on itunes, there was nothing they could have done...
There were riots literally the day the album was released, and they went on for several days/weeks afterwards.
It would have been very bad form to do any kind of promotion during that period.

 

That video on the evening of the album's release while the country was bleeding was already very badly received, and it's a good thing that she and her team quickly did a damage control operation, because it could have literally hurt her career.

So thanks Bobby for not trying to promote chromatica, it's weird but it's probably the best thing he's done.

Fast forward to 2024 and the founders of BLM, one of the largest orgs fueling those riots, have been exposed as money laundering, self serving frauds. Was it really worth it?

That's not Bobby's job and you know it, sis. Also weren't you around when Interscope ceo said they approached Gaga multiple times about the promo and she said no? I'm not defending her, just stating facts that most people tend to forget.
