Yes but usually it's for the reason that it's rare and somewhat honourable to have been invited to perform that she would be advised not to perform, and definitely not debut, new music. It distracts from the whole point of the show which is to honour the Olympics and the athletes. She'd run the risk of bad press for being selfish and trying to make the event all about her.
