The Germanotta family was NOT PHYSICALLY IN AMERICA UNTIL 1920.

 

But Cynthia's father Paul Douglas Bissett, has been in America for centuries.

 

It would have been physically impossible for the Bissett Family to meet the Germanotta family any time before 1920 since they were on two different continents in 1920.

 

Whereas someone like Alessia Cara, whose parents were born in Italy in the 60s, means that she could have physically existed before 1960 since both her parents families were in Italy and thus could have met.

Very much agree with that last part. Im not in any other fandom so I don't know, maybe they do get those critiques, but I notice it with Gaga on so many occasions, I believe with every thing she has realised since 2020 there has been some kind of hypocrisy or false concern over her releasing stuff while other things are happening, but then when she doesn't release, its also bad

Usually liddos/fanbases in general are paranoid about people being "haters1!!!1" but Shea gives me major bitter vibes towards Gaga lmao. As many people have pointed out the reasoning in itself doesn't make any sense but then there's also the fact that she *knew* the album is four years old and had to throw that jab there. It feels like she was just annoyed with the fact that people are excited about TCBf (she makes it clear she doesn't deem it worthy of excitment) and then had to come up with some legitimate morally grandstanding reason for that afterwards.

Agreed, and I don't even get why. Shea was on the season and episode of Drag Race that Gaga starred as a guest judge. She legit got to meet Gaga one on one and everything. It's weird as hell that she needed to use her name for clout chasing.

Do you guys think Gaga is seen or expected too be some sort of social justice warrior? Considering her past outspoken support for lgbtq+ community and other causes like born this way bus etc. which is why people always make a deal that Gaga doesn't speak enough on current issues anymore.
