26M views. Closing in on the 28M Deadpool & Wolverine has after 2 months of release. But are trailer views on YT today lower than they used to be 5 or so years ago? Dune 2 has 28M after 11 months. Maybe more ppl watch on Twitter/IG now?

I remember Joaquin wanting Rooney for the role and don't get me wrong she's (currently) a better actress than Gár but I just can't see her pulling it off

Of the 167 million views that J:FaD got in its first 24 hours, only 10ish million came from WB's YouTube channel. Warner Bros has a lot of different YT channels for specific countries/languages where the trailer is also posted, and a lot of people watched it on TikTok, Twitter, FB, and Insta as well. (I don't have Insta personally but apparently Gaga's post has more views than the YT trailer on WB's page). So I guess since views are more decentralized now than a few years ago. The fact that it's passing Wolverine after only a few days is amazing though. 
 

edit: Ga's own TikTok post of the trailer is sitting just under 14 million views too.

Well Rooney is on record saying that she can't sing (when we know Joaquin can) so I fear that wouldn't have worked in Academy Award Winner Phoenix's favor

 

 

Also there's this pic of Phoenix and Gar talking to Todd when neither of them are in costume so I hope this means they at least like each other somewhat lol

Sarah Paulson was acting like a fan of Gaga before AHS Hotel with praising her on Twitter, then after AHS she has been shady for some years, including in that Andy Cohen interview, I remember in an interview they asked about Gaga and she quickly said they never filmed together in that season (her character was quite pointless honestly), Gaga also didn't mention her on her Globe speech.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Paulson was kind of mad at Gaga immediately snatching a Globe while she was never recognized for AHS with the Globes.

 

Anyway then they met again at some events, the one Gaga wearing that big male suit and a dinner with Academy members where she performed Jazz before HOG.

 

Paulson and her girfriend have publicly difended her over the HOG snub then, not sure what changed..

Bey and Taylor are boring in the red carpet. Even though Gaga doesn't wear avant garde or over the top fashion, there's still that excitement to see what she will wear in the red carpet. Hence, she's a fashion icon.

Not sure if that rumor was true, it has never been confirmed also because Rooney Mara stated that she loves musicals but she can't sing..

Why would Sarah Paulson of all people feel some type of way over Gaga winning a Globe when she herself has an Emmy for ACS and a ton of noms for AHS?

 

In general, I don't get why some of y'all seem obsessed with the idea of Gaga being resented by other people in the industry. If you think it validates her success more, it doesn't. And if that is indeed the case, it'll just make winning industry awards harder since she'd lack peer support, which is vital for the Oscars, SAG, BAFTA, etc.
