The first Joker trailer was also called a teaser trailer and it was 2:25. Then the final trailer in August was the same length

I see a lot of people expecting a traditional musical with music therapy key to the plot

and a lot of people also expect it to be hallucinations / dream sequences 

 

what else can it be if these aren't true

It's definitely not a conventional-traditional musical, like Variety confirmed since the beginning.

Every trickle of tea about J:FaD is making me more excited for the film.

Yeah but I feel like the alternative is them going through dream sequences and imagining things ala Marry The Night "it's my job to cover up all the ugly holes" and that's a pretty popular theory as well. If it's neither of those what else is there

I think they're referring to the score with that "its not Jazz!" comment though. Either way, it's 100% coming on April 10th since CinemaCon is on April 8-11th and the first one debuted there. SO perched

But to be fair, if it's a lot of Judy Garland covers with just vocals and piano / some orchestra then it's really not "jazz"  just your average traditional pop / soundtrack genre.

It Will be a regular 2.30-3 min trailer. Joker had that released in early April

Yeah I'm not really expecting a lot of Jazz either, but it would be a kii if they suddenly start singing Cheek To Cheek or something  

What if It is Judy Garland covers and such but with a modern classical dark twist in the production?;

its so hard to see every other fanbases getting something (Bey made it worse, with 2 releases since Chromatica) while we get nothing 

 

Also it's hard to be hyped for the Joker tbh, it's a 2022 project, so there's no longer any novelty effect, and on top of that it won't be released until October  What the **** is taking her so long with LG7? Like she had plenty of time during lockdowns...

I'd rather wait until 2025 than have a Cowboy Carter from Gaga. And yes we had Joanne but that was a thousand times more enjoyable.

also, the Blade's fake news made it 10x harder. Like, I wasn't expecting LG7 till 2026 (given her apparent lack of interest in music), but after all the teasing (from Blade and Gaga) I can't help but feel like the lead should've been released in February.
