Replay will inevitably go viral. It's too much of a good song.

As for Is That An EGOT? I don't understand how it didn't acquire the longevity of ARUTW but I guess it can at some point also go viral, it's a beautiful ballad.

Too bad it was used during end credits and if they did not cut the song in the wedding scene, it’s probably on par with INLA at worst on streams.

Am I the only one in this base that actually likes Til It Happens To You? It hardly gets mentioned here.

It’s a nice song. Not much to really say about it. Since that song was released she has had so many better ballads.
All we had ballad wise from her was Brown Eyes, Speechless, You and I, and Dope so it was a nice addition

The song is somewhat controversial with the potentially fake writing credit she was given. Gaga really wanted that Oscar nomination

When ReSlay goes mega viral and stomps the LG7 singles like Angels Like You was doing to Miley

:ryan3:

If that means LG7 lead will Flowers-tier smash with an insane boost on Gaga's catalogue, I would be here for it

:ryan3:

If it means the album is mid like ESV though, keep it

:ryan3:

It's not the first time Replay has a tiktok-fueled boost, let's hope this time it actually goes above 60k though :rip:

Chromatica could really use the help reaching 3B, 1M+ daily streams and another track above 100M+ would make it look way less tragic

It always starts like this. :duca: BM, GH and BM kept getting smaller boosts and decreasing for a long time until something finally clicked and their daily streams got higher and stable.

Cosmetica rightfully flopped and keeps on flopping after Gar scrapped Sophie from it

Replay will eventually go super viral and you will have to deal

Y’all keep saying that since 2020 and everything but that song went viral

I can't argue with that

Controversial opinion: I didn't like Gaga's vocal delivery on some of Chromatica (keyword some). The album oddly works much better the more she sounds detached. The instrumentals needed that extra coolness. Alice was the perfect medium of big voice vs detached electronic sadness. I also think her vocal quirks didn't quite work there either (parts of Replay, Sour Candy, Rain on Me) - the theatricality was more at home on BTW.

If she's into big passionate belting, R&B-inspired stuff is where it's at IMO. Think: Sade, Mariah, the pain in Glady's voice on Got To Use My Imagination etc. etc.

Theatricality stuff would've been better if she was going back to her late aughts roots with camp fashion & sex bops.

I feel like her & Diane worked out a mutually beneficial situation where Diane was to bring the song, and Gaga was to help ~the narrative~ and get the song more visibility. I go back and forth on whether it was a bad decision or not. On one hand, it was such a Hollywood move, on the other, she got her first Oscar nom out of it. :katie:

1000 Doves slander is report worthy.

It’s one of the songs I’ll go back to, more-so aside from ROM.  The full chorus and it’s her most powerful  on the album in emoting the lyrics.

I say this in a good way,  but 1k doves reminds me of a typical summer in the UK in the early 00’s listening to the radio on the way to the skip with my Dad :eli:
