DJWS should've been Born This Fad's main producer, no it's true.  Imagine how fresh the album would still be if most of it had the crispness of BM/GH/EC instead of GariFAD's dated noises

I don't hate either song (I actually like them both ) but they do fall short of greatness.

 

Perfect Illusion is just a little too noisy. it should have been cool (thank you Kevin Parker) but instead its just shouty and kind of grating. (You can hear spit flying from her mouth near the end of the song lol)

 

I like Stupid Love more than PI, but I also didn't hear the leak before it came out and I was so hungry for dacepop Gaga's return. In hindsight though, a Gaga-Max Martin collaboration should have yielded something legendary.

As amazing as the album is, looking back on it and listening to it with good headphones and Dolby ATMOS really shows how overproduced it is. The Garibay productions all have this thing where every word is echoed throughout and once you hear it, it is hard to ignore it.
