the only issue would it be not being 1950's jazz it needs to be contemporary- i could see Gaga getting quite wrapped up with he rband and just doing another c2c/lfs but not pop. LIke we need a 'Valerie' and 'rehab'

I definitely don't see her doing pure 1950's kind of jazz, maybe a ballad max, but a modern record like those seems the more sensate option, also an acid jazz pop infusion like Jamiroquai, as for the title the options are endless but definitely not using the word 'back' on it.

It's so werid that we have no rumors or clues in general about the next album, this is the first time we have been so dark about a future music project of her, wondering if she has even started working on it.

She probably has some lyrics and concept ideas but I doubt she has anything concrete atm and I assume that's why we dont have any rumors  But tbh I prefer this than having clues or rumors about it because the albums don't match the rumors most of the time and we have endless meltdowns over expectations 

She'll start writing next year before JFAD era and once award season is over by March 2025 she'll start writing more songs to flesh out the concept and then by summer 2025 she will record the album and aim for a possible release in late 2025 or early 2026.

Unless she has managed to keep everything about it very secretive but for now I'm not counting on that.

Only thing I keep holding onto is “Has it Leaked” (who seem somewhat credible but I’ll take anything with a grain of salt these day) said she had music studio sessions booked in Q4 this year and they actually doubled down and said it two more times. But honestly that studio session could be anything. It could be fixing the Joker 2 songs/soundtrack or something random and not a new album. Delulu me wants to think into the universe it’s a new album, but I honestly don’t see her doing a full album recording these next couple months and promo for it right before a big movie. I can see Joker promo starting May/June. 

I’ve said this before & I’ll say it again. Regardless of genre, all Gar needs to do for LG7 is release an undeniable lead single (EOM, Flowers, etc). She needs a multi-metric smash hit single more than anything to stay relevant across all formats. The album success will follow 

 

Where is LG7 now ? 

But we will know about LG7 2 months before she announces because it’ll leak like everything else she does

At this point an album release before JFAD is always more unlikely, that for me has alwyas been clear and expected, but I hope she will manage to fully record it at least between now and JFAD in order to have it ready for 2025, aso because all the events for the movie will keep her busy until Spring 2025.

no. but the new rumor about haus labs is going around about new products

it's so frustrating that she seems stuck between making either electronic dance music or hagpop. that cover of I Wish shows that she could easily pull off a funkier sound with more traditional instrumentation. she does it so well live, I don't know why she hasn't tried it with her albums yet.
